Parle-G Truffles

A fun twist on a classic chocolate truffle, great for your festive dessert spread!

Everyone is gearing up for the festive season and of course, the best part about all this are the endless sweets and treats that are consumed! There’s so much to choose from, whether its mithai, halwa, kheer, gulab jamuns, and everything else in between! And don’t forget about the pounds of chocolates, nuts, and dried fruit that people gift to each other! I absolutely love the festive season, not only for all the food, but all the light, positivity, and joy that is spread during this time! But lets be honest, the food is definitely the most important part LOL. Now, I don’t always eat dessert or sweets, but I definitely make an exception during this month. So for all you lovely people who have a sweet tooth, this one’s for you! I created these delicious Parle-G truffles that will knock your socks off! Imagine a regular chocolate truffle, or an Oreo chocolate truffle, but with crumbled Parle-G cookies instead! It’s everything you didn’t know you were missing out on in your life!

These truffles are super easy and super quick to make and are great for your Diwali dessert table or even to give as a gift to friends and family! They taste so delicious and will satisfy your sweet tooth! All you need is a few simple ingredients and a food processor, and you’re ready to go with this one! I dipped these in dark chocolate, but feel free to dip in any preferred chocolate of choice, just make sure it is good quality! You can get creative and garnish these balls of heaven with anything really! I used crushed Parle-G cookie and edible gold but feel free to go nuts with shredded coconut, sliced almonds, pistachios, or anything at all! I promise you guys these will be a crowd favorite for sure so you definitely don’t want to miss out on this! I hope you guys give these a try and enjoy them as much as my family and I did! Don’t forget to tag me in your posts if you do end up making these! Happy eating, folks!

Total Time35 minutes
Servings: 16 truffles

Ingredients

  • 3 2 oz packets of Parle-G
  • 4 oz light cream cheese
  • 4 tbsp condensed milk
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 3.5 oz dark chocolate

Instructions

  • Add the biscuits to a food processor and pulse until the biscuits are completely crushed to a fine powder
  • Add the cream cheese, condensed milk, and cardamom powder and blend until a crumbly dough like texture is made
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Roll the Parle-G mixture into small 1 inch balls
  • Cool in freezer for 15 minutes
  • While the balls are freezing, melt the chocolate in a bowl in the microwave in 15 second increments until fully melted
  • Remove the balls from the freezer and dip into the chocolate until fully covered using a fork to let the excess chocolate drip out and then place back on the parchment paper
  • If you want to add crushed Parle-G on top as a garnish, immediately sprinkle it on while the chocolate is still wet
  • Continue this for all the truffles and then set in the refrigerator for 15 minutes up to 2 hours
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • When making the Parle-G mixture, taste for sweetness to make sure it’s the desired level of sweet. If not, feel free to add a little more condensed milk.
