Essence of Kesar was a beautiful discovery in New Jersey. Saffron, their namesake, was woven throughout the menu in such an elegant way, from fragrant biryanis to delicately spiced curries. Each dish felt like a tribute to traditional Indian cooking but elevated for a fine dining experience.
The space itself has a refined atmosphere that makes it perfect for a special night out. I left with the impression that it’s one of those places where you’ll always get something memorable, no matter what you order. A true hidden gem outside the city.
