Jaljeera Tequila Spritzer

This refreshing cocktail has a fun Indian twist to it, perfect for serving at your festive gathering!

Ingredients

For the Spritzer

  • 2 1/2 limes juiced
  • 4 oz tequila
  • 1 tbsp jaljeera powder
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1 can club soda

For the Rim (optional)

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp jaljeera powder
  • pinch of black pepper

Instructions

For the Rim

  • Mix all the ingredients together on a plate
  • Use a lime wedge to cover the rim in lime juice and make it sticky
  • Dip the rim into the salt mixture and cover the entire rim

For the Spritzer

  • Add all ingredients except the club soda into a shaker cup filled with ice and shake vigorously until everything is combined
  • Pour over a strainer into a cup filled with ice and top with some club soda
  • Serve with a lime and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use a good quality tequila. I used Casa Dragones Blanco tequila for this cocktail
