- 1 28 oz canned San Marzano whole peeled tomatoes
- 3 cloves garlic roughly chopped
- 1 jalapeno roughly chopped
- 1 small white onion chopped
- 2 handfuls fresh cilantro
- 1 tsp distilled white vinegar
- 1 tsp salt
- Make sure to use canned San Marzano whole peeled tomatoes to achieve the right flavor and color
- Use the stems of your cilantro as well, don't throw those away
- Serve with your favorite tortilla chips or as a side to any Mexican meal
