Easy 5 Minute Salsa

This quick and easy salsa recipe uses canned whole tomatoes and tastes just like the restaurants!

Ingredients

  • 1 28 oz canned San Marzano whole peeled tomatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic roughly chopped
  • 1 jalapeno roughly chopped
  • 1 small white onion chopped
  • 2 handfuls fresh cilantro
  • 1 tsp distilled white vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to a food processor and pulse 5-6 times until the mixture is nicely blended and not too chunky
  • Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make sure to use canned San Marzano whole peeled tomatoes to achieve the right flavor and color
  • Use the stems of your cilantro as well, don't throw those away
  • Serve with your favorite tortilla chips or as a side to any Mexican meal
