Dosa Waffles

A yummy twist on a South Indian classic that makes for a great breakfast or brunch!

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups dosa batter or 1 full container of ready made dosa batter
  • 2-3 green chili minced
  • 1 tsp ginger minced
  • salt to taste
  • green chutney
  • tamarind chutney
  • sev
  • Amul cheese shredded
  • fresh cilantro chopped
  • red chili powder for garnish

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and let sit for 15 minutes
  • Heat up waffle press and spray with non-stick cooking spray
  • Pour batter into waffle press and cook for about 7 minutes or until completely done
  • Top with green chutney, tamarind chutney, Amul cheese, sev, red chili powder and cilantro for garnish. Serve hot!

Notes

  • I used store bought dosa mix but you can use homemade as well
  • Feel free to have fun with your toppings
  • Number of waffles will vary based on size of waffle press
