Beet Hummus
A traditional Mediterranean dip with a colorful twist!

Servings: 6 people
- 1 16 oz can chickpeas
- 1 1/2 cooked beets chopped
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 lemon juiced
- 2 tbsp olive oil plus extra to drizzle on top
- salt to taste
- fresh parsley chopped, for garnish
- Za'atar seasoning for garnish
- toasted pine nuts for garnish
Add all ingredients except for olive oil to a food processor
Pulse for 1-2 minutes until you get a rich, creamy texture. While pulsing, add in the olive oil
Garnish with Za'atar seasoning, toasted pine nuts, and fresh parsley
Serve with pita or veggies!

- You can add up to 3 beets for a darker pink color
