Easy 5 Minute Salsa

This quick and easy salsa recipe uses canned whole tomatoes and tastes just like the restaurants!

This quick and easy salsa takes only 5 minutes to make and you and your family will be licking the bowl clean! It’s so delicious, has the right amount of spice, and will remind you of that traditional Mexican restaurant style salsa right from the comfort of your own home! What are you waiting for!? Go try it now!

This salsa is made in a food processor, not a blender, as you don’t want it to turn into a soupy consistency. The food processor will help to pulse the ingredients so you can achieve the right texture and yummy salsa-y goodness! You can store this salsa in your refrigerator for up to 7-10 days.

Here’s a few recommendations to help make your salsa the best it can be:

  • Make sure you use canned San Marzano whole peeled tomatoes for this to ensure you get the right color and flavor
  • I used one jalapeno in this recipe and that gave it the right amount of spice, however, if you’re a daredevil, go ahead and add one more jalapeno for that extra kick or even a habanero pepper
  • Enjoy this deliciousness with your favorite tortilla chips or as an accompaniment to your next Taco Tuesday!

I hope you guys will try this super easy recipe out and don’t forget to tag me in all your re-creations! Happy eating!
