Cook Time15 minutes mins
Total Time20 minutes mins
- 8 oz pasta boiled and drained
- 1/4 cup pasta water reserved
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1-2 cloves fresh garlic minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese plus more for garnish
- 1 tsp cracked pepper
- 1-2 tsp red chili flakes
- 1-2 green chili minced
- 1-2 tbsp hot sauce of choice
- 1 tbsp dried parsley
Boil pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside
In a pan, melt butter and garlic then add heavy cream and mix well. Once combined, sprinkle in the fresh grated parmesan and stir until cheese is combined and sauce thickens
Add in cracked pepper, red chili flakes, minced green chili, and hot sauce and mix well until spices are well combined and sauce starts to absorb some of the flavor
After 3-5 minutes add in dried parsley, boiled pasta, and reserved pasta water and mix well until all ingredients are combined
Let flavors combine and coat pasta for another 2 minutes or so. Then garnish with fresh cheese, chili flakes and parsley and serve hot!
- Feel free to use any sort of pasta for this recipe, the sauce is super versatile
- Fresh grated parmesan cheese melts better than store bought pre-grated cheese, so don't skip on this! I used BelGioioso Parmesan Cheese for this recipe
- I used Brooklyn Delhi Guntur Sannam hot sauce, but you can use anything you have, Tobasco would also work really well!
